After weeks of false reports regarding the distribution of food and medical supplies to Palestinians, and the related indiscriminate shooting at them by Israeli soldiers, the lies told by Hamas’ mouthpiece, the Gaza Ministry of Health (beholden to who? Hamas, of course!), repetition of these made up fairy tales by the Israel hating United Nations, and disgracefully by many world leaders and leading media outlets, the record was set straight, beamed from a digital billboard in the center of Times Square.

The billboard messages were lit up for all to see because the mass media wouldn’t do its job and report the truth, that Hamas lies, and Israel delivers.

All the fake photos, fake news and blood libels by Hamas and their willing but brain dead accomplishes could not hide the fact that Israel provided 4.4 billion pounds of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

In addition, according to the Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories, from May 19 through July 31st nearly 950 trucks (out of 4500) carrying flour, baby formula and other essentials remain uncollected by international organizations in Gaza due mainly to looting by armed groups, breakdown of law and order in Gaza, and Hamas’ continued firing of rockets from southern Gaza toward aid distribution sites in the Rafah area which paralyzed UN relief efforts.

Consul General of Israel in New York, Ofir Akunis said: “We will fight the blood libel that Hamas is spreading about ‘starvation’ in Gaza. They use fake images and cynically exploit young children suffering from completely unrelated illnesses, presenting them as if they are starving. Anyone who collaborates with Hamas’ lies is, in effect, collaborating with a terrorist organization. Any complaint about the situation in Gaza should be directed at the Hamas terrorists who steal humanitarian aid from Gaza’s residents while shooting at them with live ammunition.”

The digital billboard campaign, which launched in Times Square on Wednesday, July 31, 2025, was to last for one week and also called to end funding for schools run by the Palestinian Authority, that for years brainwashed children with lessons of hatred and terrorism toward Israel.

In the words of Consul General Akunis, “They teach hate in Palestinian Authority schools. No funding when education fuels terror.”

Ambassador Akunis told The Algemeiner, “The Palestinian Authority’s incitement machine is well-oiled and well-funded — since its establishment. In their textbooks, Israel doesn’t exist at all, and Jews are portrayed as pigs and monkeys. This is not education for peace; it’s wild incitement that starts from early childhood, through elementary schools and up to high school. Not only is this not a path to reconciliation or peace — it’s exactly the opposite. This is how they educate, in violation of all agreements, to hate Israel and promote terror, paving the way — in their eyes — for more events like Oct. 7.”

According to Akunis the billboard campaign will help “expose the Palestinian Authority’s poison machine to the world. We will remove the PA’s masks before the world, especially in one of the world’s central arenas: Times Square.”

UN alters definition of “Starving” and “Famine” to fit their narrative that Israel is starving Palestinians

A UN affiliated watchdog group, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), which nearly all major media outlets rely on for information (such as ABC, CNN, New York Times) changed some of its reporting metrics in order to erroneously declare in its July 29th report that “the worst case scenario of famine is currently playing out in the Gaza Strip.” They also declared, according to the Free Beacon, that “mounting evidence shows that widespread starvation, malnutrition, and disease are driving a rise in hunger-related deaths.”

So, what metrics did the IPC, which a a network of the UN, non-profit groups and Western governments alter? First of all, they lowered the bar to declare a famine is occurring from 30% to 15% of children considered to be malnourished. Then, instead of using weight and height measurements as the prime factor to determine malnutrition in children, they relied on a child’s mid-upper arm circumference, ignoring prior practices. Measuring a child’s arm circumference is usually a rushed practice, far less reliable and never meant to replace height and weight standards. The IPC then hid this information in an asterisk so it would be difficult to find. What deception!

But that is not all. The raw data is provided to the IPC by the Gaza Ministry of Health which is affiliated with Hamas and has lied, and continues to lie about their statistics for years.

Richard Goldberg, a former staffer at the White House and National Security Council and now senior advisor for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies think tank, told the Washington Beacon. “There is no famine in Gaza - the data thresholds don’t support that claim - and yet we have the UN changing the rules to fit desired political outcome.”

In more recent developments, on August 4, 2025 the Times Square billboard campaign was expandedto highlight the plight of Israeli hostages Evyatar David and Rom Braslavski who were being starved by Hamas in Gaza.

Ambassador Akunis said, “This is what real hunger looks like. This is what truth looks like. Evyatar David is being starved by a Nazi terrorist organization that dares, with the backing of parts of the media, to spread the blood libel that Israel is starving the people of Gaza. We will continue to expose, everywhere and at all times, the lies of these vile terrorists and their collaborators.”

Evyatar David – who was kidnapped on October 7, 2023, and 21 year old Rom Braslavski are two of 50 hostages that remain in Gaza. Hamas released horrifying video of David just days ago in a dark tunnel in which he appeared skeletal. The billboard campaign was aimed at underscoring the urgency of ensuring all hostages are released now.
